An exam timetable goes out on a group chat. A few days later, a student says they never saw it. Did they? In a chat, the honest answer is often “we do not know”.
Delivered is not read
A message can reach a phone without anyone looking at it. So Notifyi records each step for each person: when the notice was delivered, when it showed in their inbox, when they opened it, and when they confirmed it.
Ask people to confirm
For notices that matter, turn on acknowledgement and set a deadline. People see an “I have read this” button. Before the deadline, reminders go only to the people who have not confirmed. After the deadline, the people above the channel get a summary, and you can download the list of those who have not confirmed.
Send it to the right people only
An acknowledgement means more when the notice was meant for the person. A notice for Year 2 Physics goes only to Year 2 Physics. Nobody else has to scroll past it, and the list of people who have not confirmed is the list you need.
Make it checkable
Every notice gets a number and a check link. When a screenshot or a printed copy goes around, anyone can open the check link and see whether the text matches what was sent.
